Celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth, Harold Shapero: Orchestral Works collects five pieces by Boston composer Harold Shapero. The works on this disc span from 1945–1960, early in Shapero's career, including a rare recording of his Serenade in D for String Orchestra. Pianist Vivian Choi joins BMOP on Partita in C.
