Ellen Taaffe Zwilich Portrait Concert

BMOP restarts its Boston ConNECtion Concert series in partnership with the New England Conservatory with a portrait concert of Ellen Taaffe Zwilich. The return to Jordan Hall features four orchestral works by the pioneering American composer, including her Symphony No. 5 "Concerto for Orchestra." Longtime BMOP members Sarah Brady and Gabriela Díaz take center stage, performing two Zwilich concertos, Concerto Elegia for flute and string orchestra and Commedia dell'Arte for violin and string orchestra.
