composer

Before entering the field of law, William Norine composed a substantial body of educational and performance pieces for a wide variety of percussion instruments, ranging from jazz-rock and fusion to fugal etudes. A noted drummer himself, Norine finished his graduate studies at New England Conservatory and taught at Berklee College of Music before becoming an attorney. Norine's music is known for demanding virtuosity and attention to detail, often emphasizing the independence of movements in limbs and crafting novel sound moments through rhythm.
