Rimma Yermosh, violin, was born in Kahrkov, Ukraine, where she began playing the violin at the age of five. She graduated from a specialized music school in Kharkov and received her diploma from "Adolescents Assemblies of Arts" in 1994. She is currently a first year graduate student at New England Conservatory where she studies with Masuko Ushioda. She has also worked with James Levine, Kurt Masur, Yuri Bashmet, Zubin Mehta, and Yuri Temrikanov.

Ms. Yermosh was the Commencement Competition winner in May of 2002, the Musicorda Concerto Competition winner in July of 2001, and NEC's Concerto Competition winner in April of 2000. She has performed and toured with the Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra in Verbier, Switzerland and has performed in Carnegie Hall as part of the New York String Orchestra Seminar in December of 1999 and 2000. she has had public performances in Boston, Ukraine, Yugoslavia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. She was also the soloist for "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons in performances in Switzerland and Germany, under the conductor Yuri Bashmet.
